ThinkTanks is an action game developed by Brave Tree (now bought by GarageGames). This game was one of the first developed using the Torque Game Engine. You are the brave pilot of a ThinkTank; however, all your other comrades have been brain-slaved by an Alien Control. You should battle against other tanks in order to destroy the mind control. You view your tank from a third person perspective, allowing you to have a great view of the battlefield. The controls are very simple, four keyboard keys to control your movements and you use the mouse to aim. The aiming cross-hair is very smart and helpful, because it calculates the projectile drop, allowing you to aim precisely at your enemy. The AI gets more and more harder as you progress in the game, and the amount of the enemies is also greater, making for some frantic battles. The game also includes a very flexible multi-player mode which is all just good fun. It is really a good game created by an independent team. You can buy it on the GarageGames store, play it online using InstantAction and play its demo version. |
